Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SOLIFEIN SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, trading as SoLifeIN ("SoLifeIN", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you visit solifein.com (the "Website") or get in touch with us. We are a media, branding, marketing & commerce company based in India.

We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act"). By using the Website or contacting us, you consent to the practices described here. If you don't agree with this policy, please don't use the Website.

01Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information:

• Information you give us — when you fill in our contact form or write/call us, we collect your name, brand or company name, email address or phone number, and the contents of your message. If you become a client, we may also collect business and billing details needed to deliver our services.
• Client portal — if you are a client, we keep a portal account for you: your sign-in email, brand, package and start date, the work we log, your invoices and the messages you send us there. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address; we don't receive your Google password.
• Store checks, reports and credits — when you run a Leak Check, the store address you enter, your name and the WhatsApp number or email you give (we send a one-time code to it to confirm it is yours); if you buy the Revenue Leak Report or Leak Check credits, your name, email address, WhatsApp number, and whether you ticked the box to receive our offers and updates. Your card, UPI or bank details go to our payment provider and never reach us. Your recent checks are also remembered in your own browser (local storage) so you can reopen them, together with a random number that counts your free checks on that device; it says nothing about you or your device, and clearing your browser data removes both.
• Job applications — when you apply through our Careers page: your name, email, phone number, city, experience, expected and (if you give it) current pay, notice period, any profile link, your resume, any note, and for the voice role the languages you speak and an optional voice sample. We do not ask for your photo, age, date of birth, religion, caste, marital status or Aadhaar.
• Email sign-ups — when you sign up on our Careers or Journal page, your email address, your name if you give it, which emails you chose (new jobs, our newsletter of offers and updates, new Journal posts) and the date.
• Download requests — when you request a resource from our Journal, such as a checklist, we collect your email address and whether you asked to receive new playbooks from us.
• Information collected automatically — when you browse the Website, we (and our service providers) may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages you visit, and how you arrived. The Website does this without cookies — see section 04.

Our Website does not load fonts, scripts, or styles from third-party servers. Everything the page needs — including its fonts — is served from solifein.com itself. The one way information about your visit leaves our domain is visit counting, described in section 04.

02How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website and our offerings.
• To send you a resource you've asked for, such as a checklist from our Journal. If — and only if — you ticked the box to receive new playbooks, we will also email you when new ones are published. You can stop these at any time with the unsubscribe link in any of those emails, at solifein.com/unsubscribe, or by telling us, as described in section 09.
• To send only the emails you signed up for — new jobs at SoLifeIN, our newsletter, or new Journal posts — until you unsubscribe with the link in any of them or at solifein.com/unsubscribe.
• To deliver a Revenue Leak Report or Leak Check credits you bought: we email you the report link or credit code with your order ID and payment receipt, and send a copy to our team. If you ticked the box, we also email you our offers and updates.
• To consider a job application: only the people hiring for SoLifeIN see it; it is stored with Netlify, our hosting provider, which receives form submissions and files.
• To communicate with you about projects, updates, and — where you've agreed — relevant marketing.
• To understand how the Website is used, so we can make it better.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues, and to comply with legal obligations.

03Legal basis & your consent

We process your data on the basis of your consent and/or because it's necessary to take steps you've requested (such as responding to an enquiry or performing a contract with you). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us — this won't affect the lawfulness of processing done before your withdrawal, and it may mean we can no longer provide certain services.

04Cookies & analytics

The Website does not set cookies, and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind. The only thing it stores on your device is an offline copy of its own pages, fonts and images, so it can load without a connection. That copy contains no personal information, and you can clear it through your browser settings.

We measure visits with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that uses no cookies and no persistent identifiers. Its requests are routed through our own domain. It records aggregate information: the pages viewed, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system and device type, your country, region and city (worked out from your IP address), and whether you clicked a phone, email or WhatsApp link or submitted a form. It never records what you type into a form. To count unique visitors, Plausible processes your IP address transiently to create a temporary identifier that is discarded within 24 hours. Your IP address is not stored, and the data cannot be used to identify you or to follow you across other websites.

Where it is kept, and for how long. Plausible stores these statistics on servers in Germany, within the European Union. They are aggregate counts, not a record of you, and they are kept for as long as we use Plausible for this Website. When we stop, we delete the site from our Plausible account, and Plausible permanently deletes its statistics.

05How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

• Service providers who help us run the business, only to the extent they need it to perform their work. These currently are: Netlify, which hosts the Website and receives the details you submit through our contact form and assistant; Plausible Analytics, which receives the visit data described in section 04 — including your IP address, which it uses only transiently to count unique visitors — and turns it into aggregate statistics; and Shopify, which powers our online store at store.solifein.com and processes purchases and payments there. Anthropic, whose AI model drafts the replies of the assistant on our Website and analyses the public pages of a store you check: what you type into the assistant, and the evidence we collect from that store's public pages (never your contact details), are sent to it for those purposes only and are not used to train its models; Google PageSpeed Insights, which receives only the store address you audit (never your contact details) and tests how fast that page loads on a phone; Microlink, which receives only that store address and returns a picture of its homepage; Cashfree Payments, our payment gateway, which processes the payment when you buy a Revenue Leak Report or Leak Check credits and receives your name, email address, phone number and payment details for that purpose; and to reply to you, and to send the offers and playbook emails you asked for, we use GoDaddy, which hosts our business email (we send them ourselves from our website and mailbox; no mailing-list company receives your address), and, if you message us there, WhatsApp (Meta).
• Authorities or third parties where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

06Third-party links & our store

The Website links to other properties, including our online store at store.solifein.com and client or partner sites such as Qleopatra. Our store runs on a third-party commerce platform (Shopify) that processes purchases and payments under its own privacy terms. We're not responsible for the privacy practices of websites we don't operate — please review their policies separately.

07Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

08Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it, then delete or anonymise it:

• Enquiries (contact form, assistant, email, WhatsApp) that don't become a client: 24 months from our last contact.
• Client records: for the length of the engagement; your customers' data is then handled as our Data Processing Agreement says (deleted 30 days after the engagement ends).
• Client portal accounts: for the length of the engagement, then closed within 30 days; invoices in it are kept as below.
• Invoices and accounting records: up to 8 years, as Indian tax and company law require.
• Free store audits: the store address you enter, the scores and the write-up, and your name and contact, for 24 months, so we can follow up and improve the audit.
• Report and credit orders: your name, email address, phone number, the report, the order ID, the receipt and the payment reference, for as long as Indian tax law requires us to keep invoices and accounts.
• Offers and updates list: only if you ticked the box, your name, email address and the date you agreed, until you unsubscribe (use the link in any of our emails or solifein.com/unsubscribe, reply "stop", or write to info@solifein.com). After that we keep only your email address and the date, on a do-not-email list, so you are never emailed again by mistake.
• Job applications: 12 months from the day you apply, so we can consider you for this and similar roles, then deleted. Ask us any time to delete yours sooner, or to keep it longer in our talent pool.
• Email sign-ups (jobs, newsletter, Journal): until you unsubscribe, and at most 24 months without us sending you anything you asked for; after unsubscribing, only your email address and the date stay on our do-not-email list.
• Download sign-ups (such as the launch checklist): until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and at most 24 months without contact.
• Visit statistics: kept only in aggregate, with no personal data (section 04).

09Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and request a summary of how it's processed.
• Ask us to correct, complete, or update inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data where it's no longer required.
• Withdraw consent you've previously given.
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10Children's privacy

The Website is intended for a general business audience and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we'll take appropriate steps to remove it.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
